How WattHand handles your data.
Plain-language summary. The full policy is being prepared with counsel before launch; this page will be replaced by it.
What we collect. Workers: name, contact details, trade, credentials, project history, availability, rate and travel preferences. Employers: company and contact details, projects and workforce requirements, billing information. Visitors who use the sign-up pop-up: the details they choose to give us.
Why. To match workers with projects, verify credentials with issuers, run the hiring and billing workflow, and keep the platform secure.
Contact details stay private. A worker's phone and email are never shown to employers until the stage the worker chose, and always once hired. Conversations run through WattHand.
Marketing email. Only with explicit opt-in. Transactional email (sign-in links, invoices, interview requests) is separate and does not depend on marketing consent. Unsubscribe at any time from any marketing email.
Payments. Handled by Stripe. WattHand never stores card numbers.
